The people who keep open source running.

Coming soonMonthlyIn English

git show HEAD

A podcast about the people behind the repos.

Open source runs on people, and those people are living through the biggest change to their work since the move to Git. Pull requests get cheap, reviews become the bottleneck, and agents read and write code in projects that are 20 years old.

Nobody knows yet what that does to maintainers, sponsoring and communities. We ask the people who are finding out. Hosted by a maintainer and a developer who uses what he builds.

“What has changed in your project in the last year, and what has stayed the same?”

Not every episode is about AI. But every guest gets this question at some point.

Know a maintainer we should talk to?

We want to talk to maintainers, core contributors and module authors, the people whose names you usually only see in review threads.

Tell us who keeps your favourite project running, or what you would ask them. Feedback on episodes goes to the same address.

Or follow along on LinkedIn.
